Tigers (Panthera tigris) live in a variety of habitats across Asia, including forests, grasslands, and mangrove swamps. Their range spans several countries, but their populations are now mostly concentrated in India, Russia, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.

Tiger Habitats:

🌿 Tropical Rainforests – Found in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand (e.g., Sumatran tigers in dense jungles).
🌾 Grasslands & Savannas – Common in India and Nepal, where tigers roam open plains.
🌲 Temperate ForestsSiberian tigers thrive in the cold forests of Russia and China.
🌊 Mangrove SwampsBengal tigers live in the Sundarbans, a unique coastal swamp region in India & Bangladesh.
⛰️ Mountainous Regions – Found in Bhutan and Nepal, where they adapt to cooler climates.

Due to habitat loss and poaching, wild tiger populations have drastically declined, and they are now mostly found in protected reserves and national parks.
